A work in progress, The Jellies - Yoho, Inky and Tyke are characters that I have had sitting in my sketchbook for a while. Initially, I drew them in a vector format, but decided I wanted to try and recreate them in 3D to see if I could capture the luminescent, semi transparent jelly-like quality of the original vector illustration.

I am a huge fan of Charles M. Schulz and the simplicity of his character designs as well as the brilliance of his writing. I also love Aardman Studios and grew-up watching Morph. Both these sources provide the inspiration for the characters. Who I imagine to be flawed, yet well meaning individuals who work as a team to overcome their limitations.
